Reported Liverpool target Nabil Fekir continued his excellent 2017/18 season with another goal for Lyon on Saturday, although it was not enough to help his side to victory in Ligue 1.

The France international has scored an impressive 23 goals in all competitions for his side this term, also providing eight assists, and has emerged as one of the most exciting talents on the continent.

With the Reds crying out for a long-term replacement for the departed Philippe Coutinho, he could fit the bill this summer, excelling through the middle in support of Lyon’s established strikers this term.

He is rated at £45m by Transfermarkt.

Supporters certainly appear keen and his goal on Saturday, which came from a penalty that he himself won, was a reminder for some that the Reds should make sure they secure his signature this summer.

Should he be one of Jurgen Klopp’s big targets when the transfer window opens?
